Native American Culture/myths

Let me start by saying great reading, this is the most interesting excerpt I have read in a while. Who would of thought that the Native American culture would have so much exciting story to tell , Especially when is come to their belief. I like how they talk about the sun, moon ,water and wind with such value. I also like how they call everything spirit as if everything had a meaning or a purpose. Another thing that I like about Native American culture was how the use animal for stories but give the animal human-like character, just like as if you reading a fable which are also use to tell stories to tell stories to children. I was so fascinated with the first excerpt called "When Grizzlies Walk Upright " it was something about the excerpt that open my imagination. The excerpt had a great story to behind it.. It had me wonder why grizzly are now walking on four leg is stead of to two but in reality grizzlies are able to stand on two feet. Which even had me wondering even more about the stories, could there actually be some truth to it ? I also like to way they portrayed sky spirit as god, how it was the sky spirit who created animals and rivers with also had me wondering. Could they be talking about the same god that we believe in, I  guess we'll never know, but what I do know is that there is a connect of some sort within the Native American culture and today's American culture.
